our 2013 holiday portrait promotion,  [a BONDiggity christmas] is well under way!  the first two rounds of sessions were a hit with clients and now we’re ready to conclude with plenty of glitz and glam!  we are offering 30-minute mini sessions with 25 double-sided cards OR 50 one-sided photo cards (with envelopes) & 10-20 images on CD with print release for $150. we are also offering full-length sessions with 25 folded cards, 50 double-sided cards OR 100 one-sided photo cards (with envelopes) & 30-50 images on CD with print release for $275.

the remaining saturday date and theme is as follows:
•november 30: christmas in the city (glitzy backdrop, dressy holiday attire, could also double as new years cards)

round three will be held on november 30th in bristol, florida at mission 180 on highway 20.  we have just 2 available appointment times remaining so be sure to let us know asap if you’d like to book us on this day!   below is the inspiration board that we created for this event.  (again, these images are not our own but some we’ve pinned from pinterest to help you catch our vision.) this will be an indoor studio-type shoot complete with an ornate white and gold “wall”  we’ve built just for these sessions.  we’ll be throwing in a black and white chevron rug and a variety of baroque style chairs and props to add sparkle.  this set will lend itself to semi-formal and dressy attire, although jeans and solid shirts will work also.

{bond-iggity: day 2}

we are stoked about our 2013 holiday portrait promotion,  [a BONDiggity christmas] .  sessions will take place on three consecutive saturdays and will each be centered around a specific theme. we will offer 30-minute mini sessions with 25 double-sided cards OR 50 one-sided photo cards (with envelopes) & 10-20 images on CD with print release for $150. we are also offering full-length sessions with 25 folded cards, 50 double-sided cards OR 100 one-sided photo cards (with envelopes) & 30-50 images on CD with print release for $275.

the saturday dates and themes will be as follows:…
•november 16: home for the holidays (retro-inspired images…see details here)
•november 23: over the river & through the woods (think woods, camping, and taxidermy)
•november 30: christmas in the city (glitzy backdrop, dressy holiday attire, could also double as new years cards)

what do taxidermy and pop-up campers have in common?  not much!  but watch how the gang at bond creative can tie the two together in this exciting, second round of holiday portrait sessions!  round two will be held on november 23rd in rustic blue creek, florida.  we have just 3-4 available appointment times remaining so be sure to let us know asap if you’d like to book us on this day!   below is the inspiration board that we created for this event.  (again, most of these images are not our own but some we’ve collected from the internet to help you catch our vision.)  the location we’ve chosen has woods, a stream, and will feature an eye-catching display of taxidermy and a vintage palomino pop-up camper!  if you love the outdoors…this is definitely the theme for you!

the collage below the inspiration board is just a teaser showing one of the actual structures we will be photographing subjects in and around…and a couple of the pieces of taxidermy in the collection.

{bond-iggity}: day 1

we are stoked about our 2013 holiday portrait promotion,  [a BONDiggity christmas] .  sessions will take place on three consecutive saturdays and will each be centered around a specific theme. we will offer 30-minute mini sessions with 25 double-sided cards OR 50 one-sided photo cards (with envelopes) & 10-20 images on CD with print release for $150. we are also offering full-length sessions with 25 folded cards, 50 double-sided cards OR 100 one-sided photo cards (with envelopes) & 30-50 images on CD with print release for $275.

the saturday dates and themes will be as follows:…
•november 16: home for the holidays (traditional lifestyle portraits – baking christmas cookies, decorating the tree, etc.)
•november 23: over the river & through the woods (think woodland, outdoor location, taxidermy)
•november 30: christmas in the city (glitzy backdrop, dressy holiday attire, could also double as new years cards)

the first round of sessions will be taking place on november 16th at a private residence in blue creek, just 5-6 miles outside hosford.   we have five available appointment times remaining.   below is the inspiration board we created in preparation for this event. (these are not our own images but ones we have clipped and saved from the www.)  the house has vintage/ retro appeal and many options for posing.  we offer styling/ wardrobe help free of charge so please utilize this service to make your imagery the best it can be.

below the inspiration board is a couple of images of the actual location of our shoot.  we have designated two separate areas which will be decorated…one for those wanting festive holiday portraits, the second for families who want images that can be displayed year-round.  inspiration for days 2 and 3 are forthcoming.

{genetically speaking}

ge·net·ics

[juh-net-iks]

noun ( used with a singular verb )

1. biology . the science of heredity, dealing with resemblances and differences of related organisms resulting from the interaction of their genes and the environment.
when hannah and i (hilary) left the grantham home last week, we both commented on how we felt the session had gone and how we hoped we had truly captured the “sweetness” that’s all packaged up in raleigh’s little already-developing personality.  as i edited the imagery we were privileged to get, i secretly marveled at how truly amazing a newborn is and how genetics and environment play such a huge role in the outcome of a child’s disposition and appearance.  as i studied the images, i could see the same quiet reflection in raleigh’s eyes that i see in both of her parents’.  she was calm and very alert…gazing at her mommy with what seemed to be sheer admiration and already curious about her surroundings.  i think i can almost predict that she’s going to love books like her grandma linda and be super intelligent like her mom and dad.  i’m predicting, that she will have lots of opportunities to throw a baseball and shoot hoops with her daddy, plenty of tennis matches with her aunt deneen, and a few backyard flag football games with her uncle grant and cousins.  one day we may even see her sitting in her grandma nancy’s salon getting her hair fixed only to hop on her grandpa laban’s motorcycle to get it all messed up.  i can already see her crossing the finish line for her first mega-marathon with her aunt nikki and mom cheering her across the finish line!   i’ll bet she learns a lot about eating healthy and staying fit…and i think she’ll have lots of internal motivation and be very well-rounded.  i’m not prophesying…just “genetically speaking”.
