{catching up… two years worth!}

all of our regular customers know that we are first busy wives and mothers.  after all the taxi service, meal service, cleaning service, bookkeeping service, etc. that we offer to our families… we work regular jobs.  between the three of us there are two nurses, two teachers (one former), one bookkeeper, and two pastor’s wives.   then we mix in volunteering and serving and many side hustles (republican party committees, workforce development projects, singers and musicians in church, vitamin shoppes, vintage resale ventures, etc.).  after ALLLLL of that, we enjoy squeezing in photography work as a creative outlet.  we take on a VERY limited number of weddings and family sessions annually and usually try to fit in 2-3 rounds of mini-sessions each year as well.  needless to say, the blog seems to be the last thing we get around to updating.  over the next few days, we’ll be updating the blog here with some of our recent work (last two years!).  first up… kristin + daniel.

{timeless treasures}

here we are again at the end of another wonderful year but terribly behind on updating this blog.  most of our marketing and sharing happens on facebook but we do want to catch our readers up on some of what we captured in 2017 before the year comes to a close.

in 2018 we have big plans for some “out of the box” offerings.  one of our favorite things to do is create photographic heirlooms for large families and in the coming year we will be planning a “timeless treasures” event specifically directed at capturing multiple generations of family members in various groupings in one sitting.  watch our facebook page for some great deals between now (black friday) and cyber monday!

{campfire christmas}

this holiday season we headed to the woods to make s’mores.  as you can see, we had loads of fun and made some great pictures during our Christmas 2016 mini sessions!  the next round of minis is scheduled for the week of march 13th… a boho easter theme we’re calling [hippie easter].  we’re rounding up billy goats, chickens, retro musical instruments, and maybe even a bus or two!  can. not. wait.

{wowza!!!!!}

has it really been TWO WHOLE YEARS since we updated this blog!?

so much has happened in two years, so many faces have been seen through our lens, yet so many things took priority over blogging.  things like having babies, building houses, new jobs, new ventures, transitions, celebrations, and some not so happy times thrown in the mix.  still, here we are! capturing memories. documenting births and wedding days. chasing kids. rolling around in the grass to get the best perspective. and still loving every minute of it.  we sat down to try and catch up but there were just too many sessions to blog.  instead, we’d like to direct folks to our private facebook page and invite you to follow us on facebook to stay up to date with our portrait parties and availability. you can find us here:

{toyland: lopez}

wow!  we’re wrapping 2014 up with some of the most fun sessions we’ve had to date.  our {toyland} mini sessions were a hit, especially with the kids.  we’re looking forward to the new year…a new bond-baby is set to arrive around Christmas, we’ll be blogging about some personal goals/ achievements,  and we’ve already been planning the year’s conceptual/ themed shoots and will share as details are finalized.  it’s been a blessed 2014.  thank you for making it fun!
